AdSense PIN not arriving?

Follow the official replacement timeline, check whether your payment address can receive international standard mail, and act before the four-month verification deadline.

Direct answer

Google says AdSense PIN mail usually takes about three weeks. If it has not arrived after three weeks, request a replacement from Payments → Verification check. If your fourth replacement is also missing after another three weeks, use Google’s PIN troubleshooter.

For website publishers and YouTube creators in Liberia, Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa and other places where standard mail may be unreliable.

The official AdSense PIN timeline

Address verification starts after your earnings reach Google’s verification threshold and any required identity verification has been completed. Google then mails a unique six-digit PIN to the payment address in your account through international standard mail. The envelope has no tracking number.

PIN generated and mailed

Record the generation date shown under Payments → Verification check. The four-month verification period begins from this date.

Wait at least three weeks

Google AdSense says PIN mail usually takes about three weeks. YouTube’s creator guidance describes a three-to-four-week window.

Request a replacement

After three weeks, review or update the payment address and select Resend PIN. Google allows one replacement request every three weeks.

Use the troubleshooter when eligible

If the fourth replacement still has not arrived after another three weeks, follow Google’s PIN troubleshooter for the next account-specific step.

Check whether your payment address is actually deliverable

Google defines a valid payment address as one that can receive international standard mail. It recommends an address where you currently live or work, written in the local official language and containing the information needed for delivery.

Before requesting another PIN, verify:

  • Your name and address match the correct payment profile.
  • The country or territory selected in the account matches the real payment setup.
  • The address includes the street or community, district, city and postal information used by your local mail provider.
  • Someone can reliably receive ordinary international letters at that location.
  • You have not confused the PIN with your publisher ID. The PIN is a six-digit number printed inside the mailed envelope.

What happens after the fourth replacement PIN?

Google does not tell every publisher to upload documents immediately. The published sequence is narrower: request the fourth replacement, wait three more weeks and then use the PIN troubleshooter. The troubleshooter requires sign-in because it uses your account’s current status to determine what comes next.

No one outside Google can guarantee alternate or “manual” verification. Prepare truthful records and use only the option Google presents. Never submit altered documents, borrow another person’s address without genuine access, or pay someone who claims they can bypass the official process.

Practical preparation where mail delivery is unreliable

The steps below are operational suggestions, not special Google rules. They are designed for creators in places where an ordinary letter may not arrive at a door automatically.

  1. Ask the local postal provider how international standard letters are handled. Confirm the address format and where untracked letters are normally collected.
  2. Use a real location you control. Google recommends a home or work address. Do not use a random overseas address or change the account country to chase faster delivery.
  3. Keep a simple request log. Record the PIN generation date, every resend date, the address used and the four-month deadline.
  4. Save account screenshots without exposing the PIN. Capture the Verification check status and dates for your own records. Never publish your PIN or personal documents.
  5. Check the account, not internet rumors. Verification options can change. The signed-in page is more authoritative than a social-media tutorial.

Frequently asked questions

How long does an AdSense PIN usually take to arrive?

Google AdSense says it usually takes about three weeks. Google’s AdSense for YouTube guidance says three to four weeks. Delivery can take longer in places with slower standard mail.

When can I request a replacement PIN?

After three weeks have passed since the previous PIN mailing. The Resend PIN option appears under Payments → Verification check when the account is eligible.

Does the replacement contain a new PIN?

No. Google says replacements are duplicates of the original. If the original envelope arrives first, you can still use that PIN.

Can I track the envelope?

No. Google sends the PIN through international standard mail and does not provide a tracking number.

Can I use any address that receives mail?

Use accurate information for a place where you currently live or work and can genuinely receive standard mail. Your payment profile and account country must remain truthful.

Is manual verification guaranteed after several failed deliveries?

No. After the fourth replacement remains missing for another three weeks, use Google’s PIN troubleshooter. The next option depends on what Google presents for your specific account.

What happens after four months?

Google says ads can stop showing on AdSense sites that remain unverified. YouTube monetization can also be affected. Resolve the verification requirement to restore eligibility.
